In addition to this, the other main function in Economic Division was to grant approval to tariff plans filed by various telecom service providers and thereafter maintain constant vigil on tariff plans and safeguards the interests of telecom subscribers. I was also involved in formulation of the Reference Inter Connect Offer, determining and notifying the tariffs for WLL Mobile and WLL Fixed telephony, unbundling of the network etc. The Economic Division was also required to mediate between disputes of telecom operators relating to tariff issues.
